Human ears on machine voices

Sound Neural AI Studio Inc. operates a working audio lab — not a slide deck about the future of speech.

Why we exist

Neural text-to-speech crossed a quality threshold years ago, but most deployments still sound like they were approved by spreadsheet. We founded Sound Neural AI in Toronto to close that gap: pairing capable models with listeners who know what fatigue sounds like at minute thirty-eight of a training module.

Our team combines audio engineering, computational linguistics, and product delivery experience. We have shipped voices for phone trees, mobile apps, and long-form content — always with documentation a compliance officer can follow.

We chose Geary Avenue because it keeps us near the post-production community and transit links for clients flying in for listening sessions. Suite 102 is purpose-built for comparison, not photo shoots.

How we work with clients

We favour short pilots over sprawling statements of work. You should hear results before committing to a multi-month integration. Our producers stay on calls with your engineers until audio plays correctly in staging — not just in our booth.

We publish clear boundaries: no impersonation, no non-consensual cloning, no deceptive political or emergency-alert content. Those are not marketing lines; they are intake filters enforced before we invoice.

Sound Neural AI Studio Inc. is registered in Canada (BN 736512048 RC0001). Contracts are governed by Ontario law unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.

Values we actually enforce

Listening over novelty. A stable, clear voice beats a flashy demo that crumbles on a bus ride.

Documentation over hand-waving. Every handoff includes prompts, fallbacks, and pronunciation tables.

Consent over convenience. If rights are unclear, we pause — even when a deadline is tight.

Canadian context. We tune for Canadian English and bilingual flows as first-class requirements, not afterthoughts.

The team behind the waveform

Our core crew blends disciplines that rarely share a desk elsewhere. Audio engineers manage signal paths and loudness standards. Computational linguists maintain pronunciation libraries and SSML templates. Producers translate product requirements into listening briefs your stakeholders can score in a single session.

We hire for ears and judgement, not buzzwords. New team members complete a listening calibration week where they score reference clips against senior directors until their ratings align within agreed tolerance. That calibration keeps client reviews consistent even when multiple producers touch a project.

We participate in the Toronto creative community through studio tours for post-secondary programs and pro-bono office hours for nonprofit accessibility projects with defined scope. Commercial client work always takes scheduling priority; community sessions are announced quarterly on our contact page.

Facilities at Suite 102

The Geary Avenue location includes two isolation booths, a central control room with calibrated monitors, and a client listening lounge separated by an acoustic partition. Reference playback covers narrow-band telephony simulation, consumer earbuds, and near-field desktop setups — the three environments our clients most often care about.

Remote clients receive password-protected review links with time-coded comments. In-person clients can annotate takes on paper score sheets we archive with project files. Both paths produce the same signed approval record.

Accessibility is part of the floor plan: the listening lounge has step-free access from the elevator, adjustable seating, and caption-ready displays for remote participants who join review calls. Let us know accommodation needs when booking — we adjust room layout before you arrive.

We opened Suite 102 in 2024 after outgrowing a shared post-production suite nearby. The move let us dedicate one room entirely to neural voice comparison without scheduling conflicts from unrelated dubbing sessions.
